Finally and finally!!!

I've finished my Mochila bag.

About halfway through I was already planning another one. Now I've finished this one I'm not sure. It's been one HECK of a learning curve and I'm not really happy with the finished item. I'm going to take a 'rain check' on whether I do another or not.

Meanwhile the crochet 'bug' is still with me but I really need another idea or inspiration. All suggestions are welcome!!

I think it looks great! I have no ideas for another crochet project. The only time I get the urge to crochet anymore is when a bride-to-be wants a beaded bag for her wedding, and that hasn't happened since about a year ago.

I've got the crochet bug too - I'm on my third Virus shawl (pattern off the internet) First one in sock wool, which took about three weeks, the second and present one in variegated double knitting and then aran yarn, which make up much faster. Very easy 4-row pattern that's addictive.

Oh well done! I do think these bags are amazing, I will make one eventually. Well, I'm crocheting blankets at the moment, having great fun, so that's what I'd recommend.

I really, really love this - though I know it was a ROYAL PAIN to do.

But it's gorgeous!

I think it's lovely Jane! I haven't made one yet, but I've seen some great little baskets made with bulky rug-type yarn - might be a good next project...
